Prawns Biryani:- India is famous for different verities of Biryani and every variety has its unique taste and flavour. Today we see how to cook Prawns biryani in using simple and easy ways. Lets enjoy the cooking.
Ingredients :-
Basmathi Rice - 250 grms
Prawns - 500 grms
Curd - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1 cup
Salt - as per taste
Biryani Masala - 1 Tbspn
Cardamom - 2 no's
Coriander powder - 2 Tspn
Jeera Powder - 2Tspn
Cinnamon stick - 1/2 inch
Jeera - 1/2 Tspn
Ginger Garlic paste - 3 Tspn
Red chilli powder - 4 Tspn
Turmeric powder - 1 Tspn
Food Color - Pinch
Bay leaf - few
Cloves - 4 no's
Mint - 1/2 cup chopped
Coriander leaves - 1 cup Chopped
Fried onions - 1 cup
star anice -1 no
Process:-
Marination:- Take Cleaned prawns, add salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Mix well and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes at least.
Take a Pan and heat oil and fry the onions till golden brown color.
In a separate bowl heat water, add salt, bay leaf, cardomom and cumin. Let the water to boil and add soaked rice and let the rice cook to 70% and drain the rice and keep it aside.
Take a pan heat oil and fry the marinated prawns. Keep the fried prawns aside and add Biryani masala spices to the same oil, add curd, chilli, coriander powder, Cumin powder, Biryani masala, salt, fried onioons and saute for 5 minutes.
Then add the fried Prawns and saure for 2 minutes and add boiled rice as layers and garish with fried onions, coriender and mint on top of the rice and close with sealed lid.
Cook for 10-15 minutes on low flame and serve the biryani hot hot with Raitha.
