Step by step guide to writing a scientific report: - Title - Aim - Hypothesis - Materials - Procedure - Results - Discussion - Conclusion You can use this as a general guide based on what I teach my students. Different teachers, schools and scientific fields have different expectations on how a practical report should be written, so it's worth double checking what's expected. These differences in structures usually lie around the discussion/conclusion sections (for example, sometimes you may be required to include a separate "evaluation" section to list the possible improvements). NOTE: This guide is not detailed enough for higher levels, including university. It is intended to be guide for middle school science level reports.
