NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced that there were 65 new cases of COVID. 28 of those were infectious in the community - a number which has to drop before the tough lockdown restrictions are lowered, or even reconsidered. Of these locally acquired cases, 40 are linked to a known case or cluster – 27 are household contacts and 13 are close contacts – and the source of infection for 25 cases remains under investigation.
