Changed a lot of text in The Land of Dragons and Beast's Castle second visits. Several miscellaneous bug fixes. **********OTHER********** Let's see if I can write something legible with alcohol in my system. No, wait, cat is staring at me. Alright, retry. I may have gone over this before, but we're at a point where I'm adding a lot of things behind the scenes to this mod, and picking and choosing what to spoil and what not to. I'll tell you what though, it's all coming together. Today I'm going to show you some special stuff. Thanks for watching the special stuff, special viewer. First off, Nightmare Ventus. This is a form swap for Ventus's D-Link that is done via equipping the Midnight Anklet to the first armor slot. While his attacks are not as fast as Ventus, he has a special mechanic that makes his attacks deal damage to the middle of the field as well. His normal attacks aren't anything to scoff at either, as he will knock up an area of enemies if given the opportunity to finish winding up his moves. Unlike the regular Ventus, if you are very distant from him, he will close the gap almost immediately. However, he cannot heal you. Well, let's not spoil our friendly neighborhood bizarre enemies. Let's just say they function in some rather unique ways. I won't be showing them all off, but this should suffice for a first showing. Did you know custom Reaction Commands are a thing? Oh yes indeed they are, good reader. Want to know why they're a thing? Because I'm the only one insane enough to subject myself to the, you know what, it's all for the gameplay. I of course had to take some liberties with our little friends here, they don't exactly come with a manual on how to bring in their visual effects too. Perhaps the way they've been implemented helps them fit into the KH2FM engine though. Finally, the boss fight. Ah, this guy. It's more of a challenge than is shown here, but he'll reward you for learning his tricks. He's been rebalanced since his previous appearance in the last mod to better fit for the point of the game in which you encounter him, and I truly feel his moveset was made for Aqua to go up against. It works incredibly well, and I'm glad I took the time to even test it on a whim. Of course, in typical KH2FM fashion, it wasn't allowed to be easy. I had to redo all of his sound effects because the game refused to load the original file's sounds for some reason. It may just have been due to me being in a world it didn't belong in, but whatever. Not too big a deal. I haven't given you guys the treat of a wonderful story in a while full of hopes, dreams, happiness, love, and glee in a while. Allow me to remedy this situation on this fine day.
