“Never Entered Mosque Before This” - Life of Muslim Community in Manipur, India (The Pangals)

Travel has always taught me to come out of my comfort zone and dwell into different place and situation. One such exprience is todays Manipur vlog where I travelled far to Mayang, Manipur to explore the "Life of Muslim Community in Manipur, India" who are called as The Pangals. Pangals are the Muslims of India who resides in Manipur, since the seventh century. "Pangal" simply means "Manipuri Muslims", as they follow Islam religion. Being from a tribal belt of Northeast India, I hardly came across Indian Muslim and always had a curiosity to know about Life of Muslim in India. To find my answers I travelled to Mayang, Imphal which is a small village of Pangal community. Mr Ali accompanied me to his home and gave me an insight of their lifestyle, food. This experience gave a lot of learning about Indian Muslim, Life of Muslims of India, the Islam, quran, muslim women, life of a muslim girl in india etc I am deeply humbled by the way the entire community has greeted me and offered me all the learnings about their life.
