@melmel23904 years ago Only the northern part of the Philippines were greatly affected by the storm which was the Luzon region. Others parts like Visayas (which I am from) and Mindanao region which are the central and southern parts of Ph have fine weather. It was so sad that some of my countrymen were suffering from this due to the extreme climate change. And to think that we were expecting 2 to 3 typhoons before the year ends, 2020 can't get anymore better. But despite this pandemic and typhoons, to my fellow Pinoys laban lang! Fighting. Imagine if the strenght doubles again it will just whip through PH maintaining its strenght and devastate countries after PH. Hope our global leaders push hard to attend reverse climate change for the sake of our children and thier future children. I've transferred from one city to another coz ive been a victim twice many years ago. The place I now live in metro manila w/c is supposed elevated had been flooded for the very first time. Strong wind and flood is no joke. People of nations we dont want you experiencing it. ... 21

We were also devastated here in Southwest Florida by hurricane "ZETA", at about the same time you had a typhoon there , but because of so many huge trees all around the state, floods didn't reach that high, cause the roots of the trees absorbed most of the rainwaters. But gusty winds here were just like "RUPING" in Phils before, maybe even stronger than "RUPING".
Salute to all of you who've been very strong in facing all forms of calamities as earthquakes, etc! ...
