Dilkhush Recipe Maida-1 1/2 cup Yeast-1 tsp Sugar1 1/2tsp Lukewarm Milk or water-3/4 cup Milk powder-2tbsp optional Butter or oil-2tbsp Salt-a pinch Filling Grated coconut-1/4 cup Raisins,tuttifrutti,shredded cherries Sugar-5tbsp Mixed fruit jam-2tbsp(to bind the filling ) Method In warm milk add yeast and sugar and keep aside till its frothy and risen..then add to flour adď salt and butter mix..to it add yeast mixed milk which has risen and make a soft dough and keep aside for two hours in warm place covered with wet towel... After two hours punch out the air in the risen dough and knead for ten mins.. Make two balls out of dough..roll out two round or desired shape..keep the filling (all ingrdients under filling to be mixed well)on one and cover with the other and seal and roll on top slightly...keep under wet towel for 30mins for proofing.after 30 mins pricks holes on top and brush cold milk and, if you wish garnish with cherry and sesame seeds..and bake.in preheated oven of 190c bake for 25mins or as pwr your oven heat till golden brown..yum dilkhush is ready😊cool completely and cut..
