Tabbouleh is a Lebanese/Syrian salad which is made with bulgur, lots of herbs and tomatoes. I. This recipe, I am making tabbouleh salad with lentils instead of bulgur.
ingredients:
1 cup brown lentils
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups parsley
2 cups tomatoes seeded & diced
1/2 cup mint
1/2 cup green onions
1/3 cup lime juice
1/2 cup olive oil
2-3 teaspoon pomegranate molasses
Salt to taste
Tips:
Could be served immediately but it gets better as it sits in the refrigerator for a couple of hrs.
