Drumstick Masala Curry: A thick rich gravy made onion and is cooked with drumstick till it has developed all the flavors. It is easy to make and thus great for your weekday meals. Drumstick Dry Curry Recipe is a dry gravy made with drumstick cooked in a rich gravy made with coriander powder, cinnamon and cardamom pods. It is different from murungaikai sambar. Ingredients: Drumstick - 2 Onion - 10 to 15 Tomatoes - 2 GInger - 1 inch Garlic - 5 to 6 Grated coconut - 4 tbsp. Cinnamon - 2 Cloves - 3 Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp. Poppy seeds -1/2 tsp. Pepper - 1/2 tsp. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp. Red chili powder - 1.5 tsp. Coriander powder - 2 tsp. Mustard seeds - 2 tsp. Curry leaves - as reqd Oil - 4 tbsp. Salt - as reqd Procedure: 1. In a kadai, add 2 tsp. of oil add cinnamon, cloves, cumin seeds, pepper, poppy seeds, sauté for 10 seconds. 2. Then add onion and tomato with ginger and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes. 3. Then add grated coconut and spice powder. Cook for 30 seconds. Switch off the flame and allow to cool. 4. Grind it in mixer jar. 5. In the same kadai, add 2 tbsp. of oil add mustard seeds and curry leaves. 6. Then add onion sauté for a while and add grinded paste. 7. Add required quantity of water with some salt. 8. Then add drumstick cook until the veggie become soft. 9. Add little sugar to balance the taste.
