Hello foodies, hope you all are doing good in this quarantine!
Today's recipe is requested by one of my special viewers and being a north indian girl, I have to share this with you all as I grew up eating it as a street food in delhi. Hope you all give it a try!
Matra 500 gm ( green or white both will work )
Tamrind 200 gm + 1.5 cup hot water
Salt to taste ( vese all ingredients you can add according to your taste )
Black salt 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Aamchoor powder 2 tablespoon
Coriander powder 2 teaspoon
Roasted cumin seed powder 1 tablespoon
Chaat masala 1 tablespoon
Cumin seed 1 tablespoon
Asofetida or Hing 1/4 teaspoon
Chopped ginger 1 tablespoon and some ginger juliane for topping on matra
Onion I used 2 medium sized (for tadka and spreading on matra )
Chopped tomato I used 1 big ( Half for tadka and half for spreading on matra )
Green chilli 2 to 3
Coriander leaves hand full
Desi ghee 2 tablespoon
