I was commissioned to make a reproduction of the massive, amazing and beautiful A729 rondel dagger from the Wallace Collection in London for Christian Cameron to give away. The dagger was originally made around 1400-1450 and was either French or possibly English. It is without doubt, a very substantial knife with a 15.5"/39cm hollow ground blade and large hollow rondels and lovely bronze scales inset into the sides of the hilt. Altogether this makes it the best example of this work-a-day, but perfectly formed rondel dagger that I know of. Love it I also love Christian Camerons' books; seek them out. But before you do that, if you want to win this knife, visit https://twitter.com/Phokion1 and enter the competition to celebrate the release of his new book "Hawkwoods Sword". If you would like to support this channel, visiting my sites really helps as does signing up to the news letter on the home page of my sites and this way you will be one of the first to know when the new dagger is released.
