Hello everyone! I’m Pally. Happy New Year! Today finally marks the completion of the Stardew Valley medley that I’ve been arranging diligently since December 8th! Stardew Valley is, simply put, a farming game! I was introduced to it last year by my sister’s recommendation. At first since I played on mobile, I struggled with a few things, but as I kept playing it was so so fun that I remember often thinking during my College Entrance Exam period: ‘Just play until an event with Shane, and resume after November...’ This is random but my favorite character is Shane hehe I made this because I think the ‘Peaceful Medley’ concept of my videos fits well with this game as a whole and its songs. As I learned about this game, what surprised me was that the developer, Eric Barone, created every aspect of the game by himself. As a fan of games and game soundtracks, I felt he is very admirable. Studying the diversity of his music was like witnessing a single seed sprout into many branches in the blink of an eye; and I was also able to reflect on many things regarding my future as a game music composer as well. I connected 6-8 pieces for each part, for a total of 3 parts. I played the beginning/Spring section with moderate vitality, and in the middle which includes Summer music, I played energetically overall since the Summer music is quite exciting!
