@CODYORMOE3 years ago She’s awfully demanding and picky for a jobless homeless person. The entitlement is mind blowing. 7

@ZoooomYou3 years ago "Everyone don't have to move back to a congregate shelter in order to receive the services the services they are entitled to. They can be provided in a hotel base as well." So why does it have to be in a hotel base when it's so costly to us taxpayers? It's crazy that homeless individuals can be so demanding- she even have a dog! ... 6

@MV-nt4bq3 years ago Pretty sure almost all jobs make accommodations to disabled people, could’ve gotten a job a long time ago but they want free handouts. 6

@dymechik7213 years ago So the homeless get to make demands now about where they want to live because they had a nice long stay at a cushy hotel? The last time I checked, shelters were a roof over your head. Is that no longer good enough? The streets are always open. And how can you demand to be put in an apartment when you're likely homeless because you couldn't afford your own place to begin with? Move them into a place and suddenly they'll be demanding rent money to go with it. Whew, the entitlement. ... 8

@michaelciccone21943 years ago Everyone! I was a chaplain assistant at MID HUDSON PSYCHIATRIC HOSP years ago....upstate NY. NYS has plenty of unused space now in psych facilities in upstate NY and out on Long Island. Upstate properties are huge ! Years ago, they were actually farms with dairy cows and crops were raised. Lots of patients went out to ACTUALLY WORK EACH DAY doing farm chores. ...

@alanaweaver89423 years ago Too bad I don’t have $5 billion I would go across country buying and renovating hotels to house those who need a roof over there heads. I would charge $45 to $80/night depending on the amenities a person(s) required.

@maureendesmond14893 years ago Why can these people demand so much of others but, refuse to try and help themselves. Why can't these people if it was a pandemic go to the proper offices and apply for help like anyone else. You have people thinking these services must be in the building that they live.I would like to known what do these people do all day long but, complain. That lady who is demanding that she was promised a apartment needs a job. These same people when they are in jail or prison work because they want to buy their self's extra health and food idems. Why do they not have a job because, if they have drug problems put them in a long term residential drug program if they are mentally disabled put them in a hospital for treatment. And I bet these people are mothers and fathers who our taxes are surporting. Why doesn't the city help some the senior citizens who live in bad neighborhoods and cannot come out side to enjoy them selves because, of the crime.Move them into hotels in nice neighborhoods and help them receive self help services for themselves. And move the single people out of the hotels that refuse to work. They are not that sick they still are having sex and producing children. ...

@arthurbb89373 years ago A standard NYC handout is not enough. It has to be a 5th Avenue luxury handout.

@touchebacon13413 years ago We're in a pandemic. All these politicans r rich and wealthy. They don't know how life is 2 b poor. If our government can send millions 2 other countries. Y can't recurring monthly stimulus checks be given? That would help. We live in a rich country. It's a crying shame how people are going homeless and hungry. I'm a single disabled mom of three. Everybody's situation is different. ...

@michaelyang74053 years ago Just change the hotel to become homeless shelter or housing units. It is so simple. Why no one think about it. 1

@arthurbb89373 years ago If I owned one of those hotels there might be a power outage due to an unfortunate series of events with my electrical system. It's my private property and you get to decide what I want! Judges in NYC are spineless and useless. I'm taking that crooked decision to a higher court right away. ...
