Billy Bob the Friendly Opossum

This is my little friend, Billy Bob. I was not able to make a video tonight (but of course I fed the raccoons!) and when that happens I try to find an older video that some may have missed. So Billy Bob likes to visit when the raccoons have finished. He’s pretty shy. But he does come to the porch and eat! Once when it was really cold, I came to the porch and Billy Bob was coming out of one of the heated cat houses! So he’s a very smart little fellow! The opossum is very beneficial to the environment and are not harmful to anything or anyone. If you happen to see one “playing opossum” please just leave him alone. He has been frightened and his body reacts by going into a very severe “slow” phase. But he is probably just fine - all he needs is to be left alone and he will “wake up” and be on his way!
